black and white

"Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens:
   Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one
and calls forth each of them by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing."
-Isaiah 40:26

happy thanksgiving

A few shots from our Thanksgiving :)

We had a lovely Thanksgiving here in Hawai'i. God has blessed us greatly! I am so thankful for my friends, family, and most of all my salvation in Jesus Christ. I am thankful that I am forgiven and covered by His grace. He is so good to us!

"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever." -Psalm 107:1

good evening, hawai'i kai

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
-Matthew 11:28

a drop in the ocean

"We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop." -Mother Teresa

sunshine

"I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else."
-C.S. Lewis

consider how the lilies grow...

“Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.  If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!"
-Luke 12:27-28

Photography allows us to capture and cherish precious moments. It allows us to view life and God’s creation from a new perspective. It allows us to share our stories with others in a visible and tangible way. Through this new photo project, "Snapshots from Hawai'i" I hope to share some of these images and stories from Hawai'i with you. As I post my candid, amateur photos, I hope that you enjoy the unique beauty God blesses us with each and everyday here in Hawai'i.
